On April 19th, 2016, more than 220,000 voters in the city of New York found that they could not vote. Their voter registrations had been erased. In Brooklyn alone, more than 117,000 were purged from the voter rolls.
It has been more than a year since that day. We have seen little if any action from our elected officials to address the issue. Nothing has been done to prevent the same thing from happening again.
Come out and let your elected officials know that New Yorkers will not stand for this injustice. Bring your signs, bring your friends, bring your chants. Let’s show the establishment that New York has not forgotten. We expect accountability. We expect justice.
