Rally to Demand Answers, Demand Voting Reform!

  • NYC Board of Elections 42 Broadway New York City, NY 10004 (map)

On September 13th, state/local primary day, the NY Attorney General’s office and voter protection hotline received hundreds of complaints from voters who didn’t appear on the voting rolls, who weren’t registered in the right party, whose polling sites had partial or no poll books, and the list goes on.

It’s not clear why there were so many problems, but what is *crystal clear* is that if NY had early voting, automatic voter registration, same-day voter registration, or electronic poll books, most of these problems would’ve been avoided.

Let NY Vote is holding a rally Thursday, Sept 27th at 12:30PM outside the NYC Board of Elections (42 Broadway, Manhattan) to demand answers from the NYC BOE and voting reforms that help New Yorkers vote, not make it harder. We need as many of you as possible to stand with us to send a strong message that WE DEMAND BETTER!! Can you be there?

RSVP at this link ( if you can attend the rally so we can keep you apprised of updates.
