Rally to Let NY Vote in Polish, Russian, Haitian Creole, Yiddish, Chinese, Korean, Spanish & Bengali

  • Brooklyn Borrough Hall 209 Joralemon Street Brooklyn, NY, 11201 (map)

The NYC Board of Elections has sued NYC to keep the city from placing translators in polling locations for the citywide Public Advocate elections on Tuesday.

No New York voter deserves to be disenfranchised because of the language they speak.

Show up on Monday to express your outrage at the Kings County Supreme Court in Brooklyn. We will rally outside the courthouse as this disgrace of a hearing takes place inside (there may be an opportunity for affected citizens to join inside as well).

9am Monday, February 25

Rally on the steps of Brooklyn Borough Hall (North side of the building, on Columbus Park) and then walk together to the Kings County Supreme Court, 360 Adams Street, Part 90, to bear witness at the court hearing at 9:30 am.

Bring signs in multiple languages.
