Opinion: Count every valid ballot: Make every effort to tally legitimately arriving votes, even those lacking postmarks

Four weeks later, as counting absentee ballots from the June 23 primary continues, it’s clear that huge numbers of New Yorkers wanted to exercise their right to vote while staying safe from coronavirus.
